Farm Credit Illinois recently welcomed Beth Painter as a credit assistant in the credit services division’s large and agribusiness team to the cooperative’s central office in Mahomet.
Painter grew up in Champaign County and graduated from Mahomet-Seymour High School. She attended Southern Illinois University Carbondale for two years and will complete her associate’s degree in May from Parkland College. Prior to joining the FCI team, Painter spent nine years working for the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, most recently as an assistant to the Vice Chancellor for Institutional Advancement for six years. In addition to her work the FCI, she works part-time as an office manager and bookkeeper for Bob Simpson’s Autotown in Champaign. Painter and her husband Jared reside in Mahomet and have two children – Branson (23) and Jillian (19).
